Our Firm’s sponsorship of the 2024 Baghdad business school (BBS) Graduation

In support of young entrepreneurs who are striving to develop their skills and prepare for a distinguished presence in the job market, it was our pleasure at Al Muhamoon Al Mutahidoon to sponsor the 2024 graduation ceremony of Baghdad Business School (BBS), held on Saturday, October 12th, at the Babylon Hotel in Baghdad. The event was attended by our firm’s representatives: Attorney Muqdad Sami Al Juboori– Managing Director; Ms. Hiba Basim Khaza’al- Management and Accounting Manager (partner); Ms. Ola Swidan Khudair– Corporate Department Director; and Mr. Hasan Khaleef Hasan – Associate Attorney. This sponsorship reflects our ongoing support for educational and youth-focused events that contribute to building a promising future for Iraq.
The ceremony included prominent figures from the BBS leadership, as well as representatives from the British Embassy Iraq, Embassy of the Netherlands in Iraq, and Italian Embassy – Baghdad, Iraq, along with numerous companies, entrepreneurs, and advocates in the field of business development. The event was opened with a welcoming speech by Mr. Ahmed Al-Tabaqchali, Chairman of the Board at BBS, followed by keynote addresses from Ms. Christine van den Toorn, Founder and President of the Iraq Fund for Higher Education and BBS; Mr. Hussein Al-Bayati, General Manager of Careem Iraq; and Ms. Zainab Fouad, representing the graduates and Unico Jewelry.
Certificates were awarded to the graduates by Mr. Ahmed Al-Tabaqchali and Dr. Yass Al-Khafaji, and our firm also presented appreciation gifts to each graduate, recognizing their hard work and encouraging them to continue excelling.
It is worth mentioning that BBS is a non-profit organization established to support the education, empowerment, and employment of young Iraqis by enhancing their skills and knowledge according to market demands, while also considering diverse fields of study.
Our firm is proud to support such initiatives that strengthen the role of young people in Iraqi society, and we look forward to further fruitful partnerships with educational institutions.
