Directive on utilizing social security schedules for income tax withholding

In confirmation of the provisions outlined in the Direct Tax Withholding Instructions No. (1) of 2007, the Director General of the General Commission for Taxes, through his circular No. (1357), Ref. No. (61), dated 18 September 2024, has directed that the social security schedules must be relied upon in the calculation and collection of income tax (Direct Tax Withholding).
