With a special invitation, our firm represented by its managing director Muqdad Sami Al Juboori was pleased to attend the Eighth Arab Conference for Legal Professionals, held at the Fairmont Nile City Hotel in Cairo, Egypt, on February 2nd & 3rd, 2024. The event was organized by the International Academy for Mediation and Arbitration (IAMA) and saw significant participation from 15 Arab nationalities, including bar associations and leading law firms.

During the conference, lawyers and legal advisors focused on discussing important issues related to the developments and future challenges of the legal profession in the Arab world. This annual professional conference served as a vital platform for exchanging expertise and knowledge among legal experts, offering in-depth analyses of the current status of Arab law firms, and exploring avenues for enhancing this crucial sector.

Key themes of the conference included analyzing current developments in the global legal profession, identifying the risks facing Arab law firms, proposing solutions to strengthen their roles and improve their performance, as well as discussing successful experiences of collaboration and partnership among Arab lawyers.

The event witnessed insightful interactions by Mr. Muqdad Sami Al Juboori, and it featured distinguished speakers from various Arab law firms, including: Mr. Sharyan Al Sharyan – President of the Kuwaiti Lawyers Association, Mr. Khalifa Al Rahbi – Secretary-General of the Omani Lawyers Association, Dr. Khaled Al Shalakany – Managing Partner at El Shalakany Law Firm, Dr. Tarek Riad – Managing Partner at Tarek Riad and Partners, and Attorney Walid Othman – President of the International Academy for Mediation and Arbitration – Partner and Co-founder of Shura Law Firm, among others, who delivered insightful speeches within the conference themes.
